2017 Stories

In fall of 2016, we threw down a challenge to a dozen of our favorite community members: Tell us your most captivating story about life in the Gorge in three to five minutes.

The result was an evening of storytelling called "Rooted: Stories of Community, Creativity and Innovation." The event featured local artists, engineers, musicians and writers recounting their unique experiences of living in the Columbia River Gorge.

Due to the overwhelming success and support of our first event we were asked to continue this annually. At right we have posted the storytellers from 2017.

Thank you to Sarah Fox for recording, Columbia Center for the Arts for hosting, Dog River for gifts and INSITU for their sponsorship.
